Ravens TE Mark Andrews jokingly offers paycheck to keep Lamar Jackson 'a Raven for life'

Lamar Jackson and Mark Andrews have connected on a lot of passes since both were drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in 2018. Andrews then – either seriously or anecdotally – offered his paycheck to make up whatever difference exists between Jackson and the Ravens. When Mark Andrews goes to sleep at night, does he honestly not have a single doubt enter his brian that he might not have Lamar Jackson next year? pic.twitter.com/aUEJbUBNs1 — Baltimore Ravens (@Ravens) January 25, 2021Other Ravens players have publically called for the team to keep Jackson as well. Defensive end Calais Campbell said Baltimore "can't let a guy like him go" because "you know who Lamar Jackson is."

Fantasy Football: Sit/Start advice for Week 14 of the NFL season

Wilson will be busy this week against a Buffalo team that should put up points on offense but has allowed the 11th-most fantasy points to wide receivers this year. Jones has quietly been a top-12 fantasy QB this season (averaging the same number of fantasy points as Dak Prescott) thanks to being on pace to finish with a top-15 rushing season ever by a quarterback. But he belongs on fantasy benches this week facing a tough Eagles defense allowing the fewest YPA, yards per play and fantasy points to quarterbacks. Miami is a funnel defense that ranks top-10 against the run but bottom-10 versus the pass, allowing the third-most fantasy points to tight ends. Henry can be started Monday night against a Cardinals defense allowing the most targets, catches, yards and fantasy points to tight ends this season.

Week 14 Fantasy Football Sleepers: Unheralded QBs with underrated upside

Maybe you’re active in the DFS streets. Cook probably has double-digit touches already in his back pocket, and maybe game flow can push him to 15 or more. In this hellish Week 14 bye week, Cook could be a viable FLEX for a lot of fantasy-struggling rosters. Cincinnati is a neutral matchup for Otton next week, and the giveaway Cardinals are waiting for Week 16. London had a tasty 6-95-0 game last week and the Falcons are finally unveiling Desmond Ridder for Week 15.

Ravens hopeful on Lamar Jackson injury, confident in Huntley

BALTIMORE — (AP) — Just like last year, the Baltimore Ravens are prepared to enter the pivotal part of their season without star quarterback Lamar Jackson. The concern grew when Jackson was ushered into the tunnel to the Ravens' locker room so trainers could get a closer look at his injured knee. Jackson never returned to the game, but things ultimately turned out fine for the AFC North leaders. The Ravens (8-4) have had their struggles this season on offense, and Jackson has not always been exceptionally sharp. Jackson missed the final four games of the 2021 season with an ankle injury, and Baltimore lost every one of them.

Fantasy Football: Sit/Start tips for Week 12 of the NFL season

Hunt has averaged just seven touches since Cleveland's bye and has reached double-digit fantasy points in 0.5 PPR only once since Week 1. Lawrence is getting just 6.7 YPA this season and faces a surging Baltimore defense this week. He faces an Atlanta defense allowing the second-most fantasy points to wide receivers this season while recording an NFL-low four QB hurries. This week the Panthers get a tough Broncos defense allowing the third-fewest yards per play and points per game this season. Conversely, the Steelers have been gashed for the most fantasy points, yards and touchdowns against wideouts this season.

— (AP) — Lamar Jackson missed practice Friday because of an illness, but Baltimore coach John Harbaugh said the Ravens' star quarterback will be fine for Sunday's game against Carolina. Jackson has yet to miss a game this season. The Ravens listed him as questionable for Sunday on their injury report. Tight end Mark Andrews (shoulder, knee) and running back Gus Edwards (hamstring) are questionable as well. Andrews was a full participant at Friday's practice.

Georgia man sues over false ballot fraud claim in film

The widely debunked film includes surveillance video showing Mark Andrews, his face blurred, depositing five ballots in a dropbox in downtown Lawrenceville, a suburb northeast of Atlanta. That is legal in Georgia and a state investigator said there was no evidence of wrongdoing by Andrews. Both Engelbrecht and Phillips appear throughout the film and served as executive producers and producers, the lawsuit says. Engelbrecht and True the Vote have not responded to emails seeking comment, and contact information for Phillips could not be immediately located. While Andrews' face was blurred in the film, video shown when the defendants were interviewed sometimes clearly showed his face and the license plate on his SUV, the lawsuit says.

Ravens TE Mark Andrews, WR Rashod Bateman ruled out from 'Thursday Night Football'

The Baltimore Ravens ruled out both tight end Mark Andrews and wide receiver Rashod Bateman while facing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Andrews went down with a shoulder injury after rolling over it on a tackle early in the second quarter, while Bateman left with a foot injury. Both players entered the game already fighting injury, as Bateman was questionable with that same foot injury and Andrews was questionable with a knee injury. Jackson went to Andrews early and often in the first quarter for 33 receiving yards, but Bateman was clearly still limited, failing to catch his single target. The Buccaneers weren't immune from the injury bug either, losing star pass rusher Shaq Barrett to an ankle injury early in the third quarter.

FANTASY PLAYS: Players to start and sit for NFL Week 7

Can we finally start Tony Pollard.

Daily Fantasy Football Week 7: Lineup building blocks and undervalued options to target

They've allowed the third-most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season. Jackson stands out with no Josh Allen or Jalen Hurts on the DFS slate, and Patrick Mahomes has a tough matchup. Yet, his salary remains the cheaper of the two this week despite a much more favorable matchup. He gets a Chargers defense that had allowed the most fantasy points to running backs this season before facing Denver's league-worst rushing offense Monday night. Seattle continues to be the premier fantasy matchup this year, getting the second-most yards per play and allowing the third-most.

Pianow's biggest fantasy football regrets through three weeks

You know what Jackson has done; he's basically giving you a two-headed superstar, posting juicy passing and running stats every week. So long as Jackson doesn't get hurt, he's looking like a strong bet for Fantasy and NFL MVP. Andrews has 53.8 points in half-point PPR (always my standard league format), and Travis Kelce is at 45.6. Baltimore’s absurdly-narrow passing tree and Andrews’ age (he’s 27, almost six full years younger than Kelce) should have made him a proactive pick. The two early right answers to 2022 fantasy football play for the same NFL team.

Daily Fantasy Football Week 4: Early lineup picks to consider ahead of this week's NFL action

This matchup has the highest over/under this week (51.5 points), and passing should be featured on both sides. Mark Andrews ($28) vs. Buffalo BillsGiven the huge positional advantage, Andrews has an argument as a top-three overall fantasy player. Now Arizona travels for an early game outdoors against a Carolina defense that’s yielded just 5.9 YPA while allowing the fourth-fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks this season. Williams should be treated as a top-five fantasy RB this week, and his DFS salary is outside the top 10. Bargain BinJacoby Brissett ($20) @ Atlanta FalconsIf you’re looking to punt the position this week, Brissett is your quarterback.

Browns can't contain Jackson, lose heartbreaker to Ravens

Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield reacts after the Baltimore Ravens defeated the Browns 47-42 during an NFL football game, Monday, Dec. 14, 2020, in Cleveland. But in prime time, on a national stage, the Browns showed they're not the same old Browns. After getting clobbered 38-6 by the Ravens in Week 1, the Browns showed they're a legitimate contender — but that didn't soften the blow for coach Kevin Stefanski. The Browns had just capped a 14-point rally with Mayfield scoring on a 5-yard run to go up 35-34 when Jackson came back. Mayfield showed mental toughness in moving past his first interception after throwing 187 consecutive passes without one.

Jackson returns to save Ravens with 47-42 win over Browns

Tucker, who made 70 straight field goals inside 40 yards before he missed last week, had plenty of distance on his kick to give the Ravens (8-5) a much-needed win. It was a gut punch for the Browns (9-4), who had rallied from a 14-point deficit to take the lead while Jackson was out. He drove the Browns 75 yards, hitting running back Kareem Hunt for a 22-yard TD pass with 1:04 left. Jackson shows MVP form to help Ravens beat Washington 31-17

– A few big plays went a long way for the Baltimore Ravens, who took a small step toward regaining the form they displayed last year as the highest-scoring team in the league. Lamar Jackson ran for a 50-yard touchdown and threw for two scores in a bounce-back performance by the reigning NFL MVP and the Ravens, who took control early against Washington in a 31-17 victory Sunday. Washington (1-3) had more first downs, owned an edge in time of possession and had only 7 fewer yards than Baltimore. The game was tough to watch for Washington coach Ron Rivera, and not just because of the score. Weakened by treatment he received during the week for cancer, Rivera occasionally took a break by sitting on the bench.

Jackson throws 3 TD passes for Ravens in 38-6 rout of Browns

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson (8) looks to pass as he is pursued by Cleveland Browns defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson (98), during the first half of an NFL football game, Sunday, Sept. 13, 2020, in Baltimore, MD.
