I think there obviously is a sense of urgency of what we need to do,” Allen said. The Bills managed just 10 points despite enjoying an average starting position at their own 40, and four drives inside the Patriots 20. And Buffalo is 2-5 in games in which the offense fails to score a touchdown on its first possession.

(AP Photo/Steven Senne) (Steven Senne)NEW YORK — (AP) — The New York Jets will try to turn around their season without Zach Wilson for a few games. The rookie quarterback has a sprained posterior cruciate ligament in his right knee and will be sidelined two to four weeks, coach Robert Saleh confirmed after Wilson had an MRI on Monday. “He can still be very active in his rehab, active in his learning and keep pace with the install of the offense,” Saleh said. The 35-year-old Johnson was signed during training camp, but he hasn't played in an NFL game since 2018 with Washington. And now it appears White's in line to start at least the next couple of games for the Jets while Wilson recovers.

Ravens' season ends with Jackson in locker room, 17-3 loss

The Ravens and Lamar Jackson were stymied for the much of Saturday night by a hustling, relentless Buffalo defense. Then, the biggest miscue on a night of missteps for the Ravens effectively put an end to an otherwise memorable season. In the end, however, the Ravens got blown away on a windy night by a team that chased Jackson all over the field. 1-ranked rushing game generated 150 yards, but Jackson was limited to 34 yards on nine carries with a long of 15 yards. Throwing under duress for much of the game, Jackson went 14 of 24 for 162 yards with an interception and three sacks.

(AP Photo/Derik Hamilton)PHILADELPHIA – Lamar Jackson threw for a touchdown and ran for a score and the Baltimore Ravens held on for a 30-28 victory over the depleted Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. Still, the Ravens (5-1) needed to prevent a 2-point conversion with 1:55 remaining to secure the win. Jackson shows MVP form to help Ravens beat Washington 31-17

– A few big plays went a long way for the Baltimore Ravens, who took a small step toward regaining the form they displayed last year as the highest-scoring team in the league. Lamar Jackson ran for a 50-yard touchdown and threw for two scores in a bounce-back performance by the reigning NFL MVP and the Ravens, who took control early against Washington in a 31-17 victory Sunday. Washington (1-3) had more first downs, owned an edge in time of possession and had only 7 fewer yards than Baltimore. The game was tough to watch for Washington coach Ron Rivera, and not just because of the score. Weakened by treatment he received during the week for cancer, Rivera occasionally took a break by sitting on the bench.

Anthony Harris of Minnesota and Denver's Justin Simmons are set to play under the $11.4 million tag for a safety.

Ravens LB Judon blasts Goodell's 'black lives matter' speech

(AP Photo/Gregory Payan, File)BALTIMORE Ravens linebacker Matthew Judon criticized the timing of NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell's assertion that the league believes black lives matter," saying Monday that the message should have been delivered long ago. In the wake of protests over the death of George Floyd, a black man who died after a Minneapolis police officer kneeled on his neck, Goodell said on June 5, We, the National Football League, believe black lives matter. Its not when Roger Goodell said black lives matter that now everybody can say it," Judon said. I think we should have been questioning why Roger Goodell didnt say black lives matter when he was born, or when he became commissioner or when he was re-elected commissioner. Black lives should always matter.
