Head of operations and co-founder Ed Marszewski invited the Moms to take over full time, and it has blossomed into a “great partnership,” the pair said. Mom’s has been able to bring back staffers six days per week, four for service at Marz and two for the Community Kitchen Program. And, as a nod to its new brewery home, Marz added its version of a “pub burger” to the menu: a short rib cheeseburger with nori fries.

Walmart is expanding its breastfeeding pods. The retailer announced it was planning to install Mamava lactation suites in more than 100 stores this year. Walmart says its the first retailer to install them in a store setting. The company introduced the pods in three stores last year. An associate and new mom saw them while traveling and brought the idea back to Walmart.
More first-time moms starting families in their 40s
Nationwide, the number of babies born to women 45 and older has more than tripled in the past two decades, and the average age of first-time mothers has climbed in every state. Driving this growing demographic is a combination of emphasis on career goals and advances in reproductive technology.
