An Ocala pizza shop was scammed while fundraising for a high school student who was injured in a car crash, according to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.

Three children — ages 12, 13 and 14 — were taken into custody after high school students received the threats via text messages last month, police said.

A 17-year-old student at North Marion High School was arrested after bringing a loaded firearm to school, according to the Marion County Sheriff's Office.
