The BBC's top leader and head of its news division are the latest leaders at the institution to be forced out by controversies, this time over criticism of how it edited U.S. President Donald Trump’s speech before the Capitol riot on Jan. 6, 2021.

The chairman of the BBC has resigned after a report found he failed to disclose a potential conflict of interest over his role in arranging a loan more than two years ago for Boris Johnson.

U.K. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has called an investigation into allegations the chairman of the governing Conservative Party settled a multimillion-dollar unpaid tax bill while he was in charge of the country’s Treasury.

The attack happened around 5:15 p.m. Sunday outside 1 First Class Barber Shop, at 120 E. New York Ave. DeLand police said surveillance video from a nearby business shows a man in a white T-Shirt punching the victim several times. A warrant shows police identified Richard Sharpe, 21, of Daytona Beach as one of the two men in the video. Sharpe was booked into the Volusia County Jail Friday. Volusia County Jail records show Sharp has been arrested 10 times since 2017.
