Police say a pedestrian was struck and killed in Ocala.

A man riding an e-bike while crossing a road in Ocala was struck by a vehicle and killed in a hit-and-run crash, according to police.

Ocala police announced that the incident happened early Friday morning along Southwest College Road.

A 28-year-old man was brought to the hospital early Wednesday morning after being shot in the face outside of a Marion County Waffle House, according to the Ocala Police Department.
