PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Eighteen games into its expansion season, Orlando Pride picked up its first draw of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) season with a 1-1 stalemate at Sky Blue FC.
The Pride will see a short turnaround before their next match, hosting Sky Blue in just three days at Camping World Stadium.
It will be the third match in a week for the Pride, who have two home matches remaining in their inaugural season.
Evans sent the Pride captain running with a lofted ball over the Sky Blue backline, which Morgan let bounce once before firing in a shot from the arc with her left foot.
ET kickoff against Sky Blue, the Pride will close the 2016 season on Sept. 24 at 5 p.m.
