AdColorado trimmed its deficit to a point on a 3-pointer by Schwartz, but Florida State quickly answered with a thunderous alley-oop dunk by Sardaar Calhoun. Minutes later, Balsa Koprivica dunked, was fouled and made the free throw to put Florida State up nine. Florida State remained in control, stretching its lead to 19 points.
Devoe, Georgia Tech beat No. 15 FSU 80-75 for ACC title
The Yellow Jackets have their first Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament title in nearly three decades after beating No. AdACC player of the year Moses Wright and Jordan Usher each had 11 of their 15 points after halftime for Georgia Tech, which got off to an 0-2 start this season with home losses to Georgia State and Mercer. Top freshmen forge their own paths in picking schools

In the meantime, four of the top seven players chose Oklahoma State, Southern California, Stanford and Florida State. Jerry Meyer, the director of basketball scouting at 247Sports, says he noticed this trend starting in 2015. Barnes is ranked seventh in the 247Sports Composite and played high school basketball at Montverde (Florida) Academy. He was named the California male athlete of the year and the California basketball player of the year by USA Today.
