McVay rejuvenated, not thinking TV after Rams' title run
Super Bowl Champion Rams Football Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay conducts an interview during a press conference following the NFL football team's Super Bowl win over the Cincinnati Bengals Monday, Feb. 14, 2022, in Los Angeles. Not with the Rams' Super Bowl championship celebrations still ringing in his ears. The conflict began while the couple was on vacation in Cabo San Lucas celebrating the Rams’ Super Bowl triumph, and while Khomyn's family is currently safe, the conflict is massively worrying to McVay. “They want to talk about us winning the Super Bowl, and they’re in the midst of all these things going on," McVay said. Former Rams assistant Greg Olson and former LSU offensive coordinator Jake Peetz are also joining the offensive staff in positions yet to be finalized.
wftv.comAnalysis: Rams might pay steep price for winning all-in bet
When the Los Angeles Rams acquired Von Miller on Nov. 1, they tweeted, “We’re all in,” along with a GIF of John Malkovich splashing the poker pot. With Miller adding an emotional boost, a veteran's savvy and a physical presence that helped Aaron Donald go from all-time great to Super Bowl champion, the Rams rule the NFL for the first time since 2000, when they still played in team owner Stan Kroenke's native Missouri. Kroenke treats his NFL team the way he used to treat his NBA team: with a willingness bordering on an eagerness to mortgage the future for a shot at winning it all right now.

knightnews.comSuper Bowl Matchup: Veteran Rams versus upstart Bengals
So unanimous All-Pro DT Aaron Donald (99), LB Leonard Floyd (54) and revitalized Von Miller (40), the MVP of the 2016 Super Bowl, must be negated somewhat. Sure, the Rams made the 2019 Super Bowl with Jared Goff, but Stafford, finishing his 13th pro season, is a class above. His game management has been questioned, but it's hard to argue with four playoff trips in five seasons, and a Super Bowl loss three years ago. They also have the bitter memory of a putrid performance against New England in the 2019 Super Bowl. ___More AP Super Bowl coverage: https://apnews.com/hub/super-bowl and https://twitter.com/AP_NFLCopyright 2022 The Associated Press.

McVay, who has the Rams in their second Super Bowl in four seasons, sees all those stars sharing several of the same traits.
wftv.comSuper Bowl coaches lean conservative on 4th-down calls
If the Super Bowl comes down to a crucial fourth-down choice by Rams coach Sean McVay or Bengals counterpart Zac Taylor, history shows the may opt for the conservative path. After a regular season when teams set records for how often they went on fourth downs as more and more younger coaches embrace analytics, the two coaches who made it to the Super Bowl were more outliers. Both the Rams and the Bengals finished in the bottom quarter of the league in fourth-down tries in the regular season. Key calls on when to kick and when to go for it played a big role in the conference championships. The call decreased the Bengals' win probability by 8.7 percentage points.

But if the Los Angeles Rams left tackle wants to win his first championship, he will have to do it against his former team. “I told (Bengals coach) Zac Taylor when we talked Sunday night that both places have my heart and people that I believe in. “He’s made every team he’s been on better.”The Bengals thought Whitworth’s career was at or near its end going into 2017. wftv.comAnalysis: Misfortune follows Miller from Denver to Hollywood
After Von Miller left his Russian sable hat and the tears behind in Denver following his trade from the Broncos to the Los Angeles Rams, he cracked, “I went to bed 4-4 and woke up 7-1.” An encore, however, seems to be slipping away from Miller's clutches, just like so many quarterbacks of late.
