South Carolina suspended three freshman football players indefinitely on Friday after one of them was arrested on weapons charges overnight, according to The State's Ben Portnoy. The former is listed on the South Carolina statehouse's website as a felony. The records reportedly show Rhames was booked at midnight. Rhames, Rose and a juvenile are reportedly listed as suspects in the alleged incident. Rhames is reportedly still in jail as of Friday afternoon, with his first court appearance scheduled for March 31 and bond set at $10,000.

Maryland coach Mike Locksley became the latest recipient of a mayo bath after the Terrapins beat NC State 16-12 in the Duke’s Mayo Bowl.
