President Joe Biden expressed pointed frustration over the slowing COVID-19 vaccination rate in the U.S. In a TV town hall Wednesday night in Cincinnati, Biden pleaded that it’s “gigantically important” for Americans to step up and get inoculated against the virus as it surges once again.

Skepticism about the COVID-19 vaccination is a common theme in media appealing to conservatives, despite assurances from doctors and scientists that the vaccine is safe and effective.
