Bills, Sabres co-owner Kim Pegula treated for health issues
Pegula celebrated her 53rd birthday last week, and is the wife of Terry Pegula, who turned his natural gas fortune into a Buffalo sports empire. The family also asked people to keep Kim and the Pegula family in their prayers. The Pegulas first purchased the Sabres in February 2011, a year after Terry Pegula sold his natural gas drilling rights to Royal Dutch Shell for $4.7 billion. Kim Pegula is president of both teams and is on various NFL and NHL committees. She is Terry Pegula’s second wife.

Earlier in the day, members of the NFL’s Social Justice Working Group and the owners were given a copy of a letter by two former employees of the Washington Football Team asking them to make a public a report. So far, 94.1% of players are vaccinated, as well as 100% of team and league staff. Members of the Pegula family, including co-owner and team president Kim Pegula, are not experiencing any symptoms.
