Greene, Massie and Norman, along with Rep. Mary E. Miller of Illinois, took a maskless selfie on the House floor. On June 11, the requirement was lifted, with Monahan writing that fully vaccinated members, staff and visitors to the chamber could shed their masks. Norman said in his appeal that he has been fully vaccinated since February.

New York officials expect the vast majority of votes to be mail ballots this year, compared to their typical 5% share. Counties have until eight days after Election Day to count and release the results of mail ballots, with 1.7 million requested by voters.

According to MarketWatch, the IRS determines eligibility and check amounts based on the adjusted gross income on a household’s 2019 tax return, which is now due July 15. If the IRS doesn’t have someone’s 2019 return yet, it moves to the 2018 return to determine the stimulus check.
