What was once supposed to bring us some more much needed rain has come together as another dry push of colder temps. These cold temperatures will be in for only a brief hello and goodnight before warmth returns across our area, and it could actually remain this way through to saying Merry Christmas.

Temperatures are warming across town as winds change from a northerly to easterly direction overtime. Tonight we'll still see some chilly spots across our area, but then tomorrow's afternoon high's jump right back towards the 80 degree mark. Then into December, as we close out the month, the weather pattern looks to maybe throw some periods of rain toward us.

A one, two punch is expected to move into the area over the next 10 days, ushering in some of the coldest weather we have seen in years.

ORLANDO, Fla. – Sunday night will be cool enough for jackets, but not as cold as it has been, meteorologist Samara Cokinos said. Lows will settle in the mid to upper 50s with a few clouds overhead eventually fading away. Changes are headed to the Orlando area, with a cold front situated over Texas making its way slowly toward the Sunshine State. It will remain sunny in the low to mid 80s for the start of the work week, but beginning Tuesday, rain chances return. For the end of the week heading into next weekend, expect highs in the mid to low 60s.
