Nineteen seasons and nine teams later, the quarterback finally got his wish when he signed with the Texans this month to be their third quarterback behind Deshaun Watson and AJ McCarron. I followed it closely because it was another team in Texas,โ McCown said. Since McCown has been in the NFL since the Texans became a team, itโs no surprise that at 41 heโs by far the oldest player on the team.

Costly mistakes foil Jaguars in 30-14 loss to Texans
HOUSTON โ Costly errors and an inability to take advantage of Houstonโs mistakes gave the Jacksonville Jaguars another loss to a previously winless team on Sunday and left them in last place in the AFC South. โWeโve got to look in the mirror, re-evaluate and just find a way to win,โ Jaguars quarterback Gardner Minshew said. Sidney Jones intercepted Watson twice, giving the Jaguars a boost on a day they played without three defensive starters because of injuries. It was recovered by Whitney Mercilus, who fumbled on the return, but the Texans pounced on the ball to keep it. Now the Jaguars are left searching for a way to get on track before they host the Lions next Sunday.
