The father of a 13-year-old girl is suing the Orange County apartment complex where authorities say his daughter was raped and killed July 4, 2024.

Two days after structural concerns prompted the evacuation of 85 units at the Pebble Creek at Lake Mary apartment complex, News 6 obtained a report from Seminole County documenting "numerous issues with all buildings" in the complex.

Two women were found dead Sunday in an apartment, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities said the women were found dead by a family member inside an apartment at Liv at Winter Park off Goldenrod Road. They were identified Monday as Rose Sigona, 26, and Camille Sigona, 59. An investigation is ongoing, but authorities said Sunday that they’re not looking for anyone in connection to the case.
