Troopers said Natasha Johnson Smith, 27, of Spring Hill, was driving a 2011 BMW 535i west on S.R. 60 and was passing other vehicles by traveling in the eastbound lanes.
An oncoming Jeep Wrangler, driven by a 29-year-old Fort Pierce man, swerved to avoid the BMW, but Finucane-Terlop's Volkswagen GTI was struck head-on, the FHP said.
Finucane-Terlop was pronounced dead at the scene, the FHP said.
Smith suffered serious injuries and was taken to Osceola Regional Medical Center, troopers said.
Alcohol did not play a role in the crash, according to the FHP.
All three drivers were wearing their seat belts, troopers said.
The FHP said charges are pending against Smith.
