Road reopens after to tractor-trailer crash along I-75 causes fuel spill

ALACHUA COUNTY, Fla. – A tractor-trailer crash along Interstate 75 caused traffic to slow along the highway, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

In a release, troopers said the crash happened near mile marker 370, near the Alachua-Marion county line, slowing down traffic in the southbound lanes.

As a result, crews are working to clean up the crash debris and a resulting diesel spill, the release shows.

In an update around 9:15 p.m., troopers told News 6 that the road has since been reopened.

No additional information has been provided at this time, including the cause of the crash or any possible injuries.
