Dump truck bed strikes toll plaza signs on SR-417 Crash happened on entrance ramp of SR-417 from Nacoossee Road
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – An open bed of a dump truck collided with toll plaza signs Monday morning on State Road 417 near the Orange-Osceola county line, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
The crash happened on the northbound entrance ramp to S.R. 417 from Narcooseee Road in the Lake Nona area.
Investigators said the driver of the dump truck failed to lower the bed of the truck prior to entering the entrance ramp, and the bed of the truck struck the signs.
The driver was not hurt and the crash remains under investigation.
No other details have been released.
