Driver clocked at 140 mph on I-4 nabbed inside At Home in Lake Mary, FHP says

LAKE MARY, Fla. – A BMW driver clocked at 140 mph on Interstate 4 in Orange County was taken into custody after fleeing Florida troopers and running into a store, officials said.

The FHP said troopers who were monitoring traffic and conducting speed enforcement along I-4 observed a 2007 BMW 335i traveling east near mile marker 82 at speeds greater than 140 mph in a reckless manner.

According to the FHP, troopers attempted a traffic stop, but the driver sped up and exited at Lake Mary Boulevard, about 16 miles away In Seminole County.

The driver entered a parking lot and went into the At Home store on Flagg Lane in Lake Mary, according to troopers, who said they found him at took him into custody.

The driver was identified by the FHP as Mohamed Nour Jebokji, 34, of Orlando.

Jebokji was taken to the Seminole County jail and booked on multiple charges including fleeing and eluding a law enforcement officer, resisting a law enforcement officer without violence, and reckless driving.
