Motorcyclist killed in wreck with unoccupied truck in Orange County

Crash happened on Tradeshow Boulevard near Universal Boulevard

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A 21-year-old Orlando man died Friday night in Orange County when his motorcycle went off the roadway and struck the back of an unoccupied truck, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash happened around 11:40 p.m. on Tradeshow Boulevard near Universal Boulevard.

According to a crash report, the man was riding his motorcycle south on Tradeshow Boulevard when he entered the northbound shoulder and hit the back of the unoccupied truck, a 2004 Freightliner truck, that was on the shoulder.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

An investigation is ongoing.
