MARION COUNTY, Fla. – U.S. 441 in Marion County has reopened after a fatal crash forced a shutdown near McIntosh on Saturday morning, according to the sheriff’s office.

The crash occurred in the 22500 block of N Highway 441, forcing a northbound traffic closure, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office said before 11 a.m. on social media.

Drivers were urged to use caution and to follow the instructions of law enforcement officers directing traffic.

The Florida Highway Patrol is still said to be investigating the crash.
