OCALA, Fla. – A 35-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a crash with another vehicle early Saturday morning, according to Ocala police.
Police said the crash happened at the intersection of SW 17 St/SW 20 Court and State Road 200 around 2 a.m.

According to Ocapa police, a BMW motorcycle was traveling south on SW 20 Court when it approached S.R. 200. At the same time, a Volkswagen Sedan was traveling east on S.R. 200 and approaching the intersection of SW 20 Court and SW 17 S.

Police said as both vehicles were crossing the intersection, the Volkswagen collided with the side of the motorcycle. The police are still investigating who had the right-of-way.
The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital and later pronounced, according to police.
No other injuries were reported.
The crash remains under investigation.
