ORLANDO, Fla. – The leadership may have changed at The Salvation Army here in Orlando, but the mission remains as strong and vibrant as ever.
Today, I’m welcoming the new area commander, Maj. Roger Glick, to my livestream. It will actually be my first time meeting him.
You all know News 6 and I share a special bond with The Salvation Army. Over the years, our partnership has helped bring hope, support and real change to so many families across Central Florida. And during the holiday season, nothing embodies that spirit more than the Angel Tree program, which ensures children and seniors in need still feel the warmth and joy of Christmas.
Today, I’ll be learning a little more about Maj. Glick, where he comes from, what drives him, and what his goals are as he steps into this critical leadership role.
