OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – A 55-year-old Kissimmee woman was killed Thursday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Osceola County, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
The fatal wreck happened around 12:20 a.m. on Poinciana Boulevard at Woodmont Boulevard, north of U.S. 17 near Intercession City.

The FHP said the woman was a rear passenger in a 2024 Kia Forte that was stopped facing east on Woodmont Boulevard.
A 2011 Honda Accord was traveling south on Poinciana when the Kia, driven by a 24-year-old Kissimmee woman, failed to yield from the stop sign and entered the direct path of the Honda, according to an FHP crash report.
The front of the Honda struck the left side of the Kia, and the rear passenger died in the crash, troopers said.
The driver of the Kia and her front passenger, another 24-year-old Kissimmee woman, were taken to Osceola Regional Medical Center with serious injuries, the FHP said.
The driver of the Honda, a 39-year-old Kissimmee man, suffered minor injuries and was also taken to a hospital, according to the crash report.
No other details were released.
