Florida’s Turnpike reopens in Osceola County after overturned semi causes major delays

Crash snarls traffic near Kissimmee

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – Florida’s Turnpike reopened Tuesday hours after an overturned semi shutdown the northbound lanes in Osceola County.

The crash happened near mile marker 245 near Kissimmee.

Traffic cameras showed the overturned semitruck blocking all lanes, forcing drivers to exit at US-192 west and head north on alternate routes.

The northbound lanes were cleared before 10 a.m.

No other information, including what led to the wreck or if there were any injuries, has been released.
