19-year-old driver killed when Lexus overturns in Groveland crash Wreck investigated at Mascotte Empire Road and Justamere Lane

GROVELAND, Fla. – A 19-year-old driver was killed Thursday morning in a single-vehicle rollover crash in Groveland, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The fatal wreck happened around 6:35 a.m. at Mascotte Empire Road and Justamere Lane, south of State Road 50 and County Road 33.
According to a crash report, the Mascotte man was traveling above the speed limit and failed to negotiate a curve, sending a 2010 Lexus ES off the roadway and crashing into a pole and tree before overturning.
The driver was pronounced dead.
An investigation is ongoing.
