Deadly crash with 2 semitrucks shuts down SR-60 in Osceola County

Crash happened shortly after 2:30 p.m., troopers said

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – A fatal crash along State Road 60 shut down traffic along the highway on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

In a release, troopers said that the crash happened around 2:37 p.m. at Peavine Road in Kenansville.

While troopers revealed that the crash involved two semitrucks and at least one confirmed fatality, the cause of the crash is still under investigation.

Meanwhile, the crash blocked the road for both directions along the highway, troopers added.
