Parking lots may not sound like the most exciting topic in the world, and yes, I’m being a little sarcastic there, but the reality is they’re one of the places where we let our guard down the most. Today on Trooper Steve on Patrol, we took a closer look at parking lot safety, focusing not only on vehicle crashes but personal safety as well. From distracted drivers backing out of spaces to pedestrians walking while buried in their phones, parking lots have become a hotspot for avoidable incidents.
