Daytona Beach officer’s family pushes for change after shooter’s manslaughter verdict

Florida’s Jason Raynor Act — named for a Daytona Beach police officer killed in the line of duty — is now law, requiring a life sentence without the possibility of parole for anyone convicted of manslaughter in the death of a law enforcement officer.
