New Florida law lets school districts build affordable housing

A new update to Florida's Live Local Act allows school districts to build affordable housing on their properties, bypassing traditional zoning rules — and Orange County residents are pushing back after learning their single-family neighborhood could soon be home to a 100-unit apartment complex on a former school site.
