I Swam With Sharks at Discovery Cove for Shark Week (Nurse, Zebra + More!)

It’s Shark Week, so News 6 Insider Guide Kara Moeller went behind the scenes at Discovery Cove’s Shark Interaction Program to get up close with sharks in a calm, trainer-led experience. She met Triton, a full-grown nurse shark, learned what shark skin really feels like (hint: it’s made of tooth-like scales), then geared up to snorkel alongside several shark species in the habitat. Plus, part of the program supports the Guy Harvey Foundation and marine conservation.
