Mount Dora street changes aim to improve emergency vehicle access

The City of Mount Dora is set to give final approval on a plan that will change how drivers move through downtown. On Tuesday, the city council will vote to authorize a contractor to complete the Downtown One-Way Street Conversion Project. The plan, which was initially approved in 2025, calls for changes to three streets so emergency vehicles have more room to respond to parts of downtown.
