Edgewater football preps for preseason clash

The Edgewater High School football team is once again hoping its pre-dawn practices will help lay the foundation for another successful run at an elusive state championship.  I spoke with second-year head coach Patrick Browning and a pair of upperclassmen as they gear up for the 2026 campaign, which kicks off with a signature preseason showdown against fellow powerhouse Armwood Friday, Aug. 14 at home.
