Winter Garden neighborhood mourns man killed in shooting after card game, police say

A man is dead following a late-night shooting at a Winter Garden home, police said. Around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to a home on Bethune Avenue. Upon arrival, they found Sharif Simmons, 49, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in front of the residence.
