ORLANDO, Fla. – A cloudy start will turn into a sunny afternoon Friday, with high temperatures running in the low to mid-70s as winds pick up out of the west.
Temperatures Friday night will remain near normal as well, with lows in the mid- to upper 40s.

The pleasant and comfortable weather will continue into Saturday, with winds picking up ahead of a much wetter pattern for the second half of the weekend.
A subtropical jet will send in a developing low across the country and into Florida by daybreak on Sunday.
As the systems moves overhead, a band of breezy rain showers will move in from the west through the morning to midafternoon. Models show a 20-30% chance of lightning with this activity but a higher chance for heavy rain and gusty winds.
While the severe weather threat still seems low, these quick-moving rain bands will have the potential to create wind gusts from 40-50mph and pockets of heavy downpours.
Even outside of the rain, it will be windy at times out of the southeast from 15-25 mph with gusts up to 30-35 mph. There will likely be a break in the rain late in the afternoon, with perhaps even a few peeks of sunshine before sunset. Highs will be in the upper 60s to low 70s.
Scattered showers will linger through Monday with converge staying at 50%, but drier and even cooler air settles in through the rest of the week with highs in the 60s.
