Scattered rain and thunderstorms are expected to move across Central Florida

Gusty winds, lightning, small hail and heavy rain possible on Sunday

ORLANDO, Fla. – Sunday will feature scattered rain and storms developing across Central Florida.

A few thunderstorms could become strong/severe at times, producing heavy rain, lightning and small hail.

It’ll be another warm and muggy day with daytime highs climbing into the lower 80s.

It’s not going to rain all day, but the rain coverage increases as we go through the day.

Rain coverage

Tonight, the rain is expected to move off shore and it’ll stay cloudy and muggy with overnight low temperatures falling into the middle 60s.

Monday, expect partly cloudy skies with isolated showers popping up. Highs are expected to climb into the lower 80s.

Daily highs stay in the 80s all week, with another boundary stalling over the area Tuesday and Wednesday increasing rain chances.
