ORLANDO, Fla. – Saturday begins with a quiet coastal breeze, bringing with it a few scattered showers that may linger throughout the morning and into the afternoon.
The chance for these coastal showers hovers around 20% to 40% through the day.
For most of the day, the skies will clear, leaving many areas dry. Don’t be surprised, though, if a brief pop-up shower makes an appearance here and there.

Temperatures will stay hot, with highs reaching into the upper 80s and low 90s inland.
The east coast has a moderate rip current risk today, so it’s a good idea to stay out of the water if you’re planning on hitting the beach. You’ll probably be dodging a few showers anyway. As the sun dips below the horizon, expect a few more scattered showers to pop up, with temperatures cooling off into the upper 60s and low 70s overnight.
Sunday starts with mostly dry conditions, but a cool front is slowly making its way toward the region, setting the stage for a change in the weather.
As the sea breeze kicks in, scattered showers and a few isolated storms may form, particularly after 2 p.m.
The most active weather will be found east of I-4, where there’s a marginal risk for strong storms.
Winds could gust up to 60 mph, small hail could make an appearance, and lightning will be flashing. While the threat of tornadoes is low, a few brief tornadoes can’t be ruled out. Minor flooding from heavy rain is also a possibility.
By Monday, scattered rain continues, especially east of I-4, with lingering severe weather risks. After that, the heat kicks in — sunny skies and temps soaring into the upper 90s, with less rain on the horizon.
