ORLANDO, FL – Tropical moisture continues to drift westward along the Gulf Coast, bringing the potential for heavy rain—especially for folks living near the I-10 corridor.
After moving through the Florida Peninsula on Tuesday, what’s left of Invest 93L is now soaking parts of the Gulf Coast and prompting flood watches in some areas.
According to the National Hurricane Center’s 2 a.m. update, the chances of this system developing into something more organized have dropped to 30% over the next week.
For now, there are no other trouble spots being watched, but people along the Gulf should keep an eye on the forecast—especially with this system moving slowly and still packing a lot of moisture.
