ORLANDO, Fla. – The National Hurricane Center has released its 8 p.m. Saturday tropical outlook, raising the chances of tropical development for a new wave that recently emerged off the coast of Africa.
Currently, it’s a large area of disorganized showers and storms and isn’t expected to do much over the next few days. However, favorable conditions are forecast for next week and it could develop into a tropical depression by mid to late next week within the highlighted orange area.
The system is expected to continue moving southwest to northwest at 15-20 mph across the eastern to central Atlantic.
