ORLANDO, Fla. – Central Florida is in for another round of messy weather as scattered thunderstorms and the possibility of heavy rainfall are expected through the day and into the evening hours.
The excessive rainfall outlook places the entire region under a marginal risk, which means that while not everyone will see intense downpours, a few spots could experience enough rain to cause localized flooding.
Some locations could pick up between 2 to 3 inches of rain, especially if thunderstorms become stationary overhead.

Thanks to persistent cloud cover and a lingering area of low pressure, daytime highs are expected to stay a bit below what’s typical for this time of year. Afternoon highs are expected to climb into the upper 80s across the region.
The low pressure system hanging near the state is forecast to keep weather conditions unsettled, leading to repeated rounds of showers and thunderstorms.
Temperatures are likely to trend upward by midweek, with highs climbing into the lower 90s by Wednesday and Thursday. No dry spell is in sight yet, so plan for scattered storms and keep those umbrellas handy.
