ORLANDO, FL – According to the National Weather Service in Melbourne, a SKYWARN spotter reported a funnel cloud around 11:18 a.m., which was later confirmed by the Daytona Beach Air Traffic Control Tower and a contract observer.
The fair-weather funnel was linked to a weak offshore shower near Ponce Inlet at the time.
