Coastal hazards and beach outlook

Beachgoers are urged to be extra careful, as the approaching system brings increased surf risks. While Saturday poses a moderate rip-current risk, conditions are forecast to worsen heading into Sunday and Monday.

High rip-current risk and possible beach erosion are expected, making it a good weekend to check local warnings and think twice before heading out into rough water.
