ORLANDO, FL – Happy Halloween! What a treat this forecast is. Morning temperatures dipped into the 40s and 50s across Central Florida — well below our typical lower-60s start for this time of year. It’s a refreshing cool-down for the holiday.
The coolest Halloween on record is 66°, set back in 1993. Today’s highs topped off at 69° in Orlando, putting us closer to that chill we felt on Halloween that year.
As we head into trick-or-treating time and evening Halloween events, expect it to feel even chilly, with temperatures falling into the 60s.
Overnight temperatures are even chillier in the 40s and 50s once again.
It’ll definitely be a cool kickoff to the weekend.
The weekend itself looks pleasant and mostly dry, with highs in the mid- to upper-70s under a mix of sun and clouds. A cold front arrives Sunday into Monday, bringing rain chances up to about 20–30%. Monday will be a touch cooler with highs in the low-70s, but a warming trend takes over afterward, pushing temperatures back into the low-80s through the rest of the week.
