Expect on-and-off showers and storms throughout the day, with the most active window between 1 p.m. and 9 p.m.
A few showers and storms may also linger overnight.
Storm chances on Sunday remain relatively low at 40%, but any storms that do form could pack a punch, with isolated damaging wind gusts being the main concern.
As daytime heating ramps up, the atmosphere gains enough energy for stronger storms to develop.
Around the metro area, showers and pockets of heavy rain may start popping up by late morning and continue through about 7 p.m.
