Central Florida to reach 80s in coming days

ORLANDO, Fla. – Central Florida woke up Wednesday to another cold morning, but a warmup is coming.

Weather records were set Tuesday areawide, with Orlando reaching a new record-low high, hitting 58 degrees. The normal high for this time of year in Orlando is 79, and the normal low is 59.

Warmup begins

Our warm up begins as early as Wednesday afternoon.

  • Wednesday: 69 degrees in Orlando; 67 in Ocala; 66 in Palm Coast; and 71 in Melbourne
  • Thursday: High of 74 degrees, low of 49 degrees
  • Friday: Highs in mid-70s
  • Saturday and Sunday: Low 80s expected

Mostly sunny skies

By the weekend, we will be back in the low 80s. Our extended forecast is mostly dry.
