ORLANDO, Fla. – Central Florida, get ready for some changes in the weather pattern this weekend. A weather system and multiple fronts are moving in and will increase our rain chances.

Saturday starts mostly dry, but a weaker front will move in as the day progresses. Rain chances rise to around 30–40%, with hit-or-miss showers possible on and off through the afternoon and evening.

Saturday Evening

Heavy rain is possible, along with occasional thunderstorms, and winds could gust between 20–30 mph as the front passes. Rain will continue on and off through Sunday night.

Sunday Afternoon

By Monday morning, a few light showers may linger as the front clears. Breezy conditions will persist and clouds will take some time to clear, likely sticking around into early afternoon.

Rain totals will vary across the region. Locations north and west of Interstate 4 could pick up between 1–3 inches, with locally higher amounts possible. Areas south of I-4 may see between 0.25–0.5 inches.

Rainfall potential through the weekend

There is also a marginal risk for minor, isolated flooding on Sunday, so keep that in mind if you’re heading out.
