ORLANDO, Fla. – If you’re getting an early start Saturday morning, you may want to allow a little extra time on the road. Patchy, dense fog is likely to reduce visibility during the morning commute. Drivers are encouraged to be cautious, as these foggy conditions are most likely to develop overnight and could make travel tricky through the early hours.
Weekend outlook: Mild and dry
After the fog lifts, Central Florida is expected to see a pleasant weekend. Temperatures will rise to the upper 70s by Saturday afternoon.
Overnight temperatures are set to be a bit chilly, dipping into the 50s, so a light jacket may come in handy early in the day. Conditions are forecast to stay mostly dry, with only a few clouds expected here and there.
Midweek cold front and seven-day forecast
Looking ahead, the next significant weather change comes midweek. A cold front is expected to move through Central Florida around Tuesday. Temperatures are forecast to stay warm on Monday, climbing into the lower 80s, before dropping to the mid-60s on Tuesday. The trend continues as Wednesday is expected to be even chillier, with the high near 62 degrees, and cooler temperatures are likely to linger through the end of the week.
