ORLANDO, Fla. – Get ready for a real taste of winter, Central Florida.
A sharp temperature drop is on the way as a strong cold front moves into the region early next week. The cold air starts to arrive Monday night into Tuesday, bringing morning temperatures down across the area.
Wednesday morning wake-up temperatures could feel especially brisk, with lows forecast as cold as the lower 30s in some cities. The chill is expected to stick around through at least Friday.
Before that cold snap arrives, Saturday starts out with patchy, dense fog. If you experienced any interesting fog or weather today, snap a photo and share it with News 6 using PinIt!

Extended outlook: Dry and mild weekend before big shift
The weekend is shaping up to stay dry and mild. High pressure over the Gulf is keeping rain chances at zero, so if you’re heading to the Pop-Tarts Bowl at Camping World Stadium or making other outdoor plans, expect partly-cloudy skies with warm temperatures — perfect for enjoying the game or a stroll along the beach.
Orlando’s extended forecast from shows a high near 78 degrees Saturday, up to 80 on Sunday, and 81 on Monday. The big change kicks in Tuesday, when that cold front brings in sharply-lower temperatures and a definite winter feel by Wednesday morning.
