ORLANDO, FLa. – Missing the cooler weather? It looks like winter has one last call next week.
Not one, but two cold fronts are set to move through the region — the first arriving Thursday, and the second next Monday.
It’s that second front that could deliver one final taste of winter before spring fully takes hold.
Before that happens, this weekend will feel toasty, with scattered showers and storms developing at times — and honestly, the rain will be welcome as much of the region continues to deal with very dry conditions. High temperatures will climb into the lower to mid-80s.
Then Monday’s cold front sweeps through, bringing a higher chance of rain and pulling much cooler air into the region.
By Tuesday morning, temperatures will feel noticeably different, with lows in the 40s and 50s.
Afternoon highs will stay below average, only reaching the mid to upper 60s and lower 70s.
Wednesday morning could be even cooler, with lower 40s across northern counties and low 50s around the metro area, before highs rebound slightly into the lower 70s.
Another cool start is expected Thursday morning, with temperatures around the lower 50s in Orlando.
So if you’ve been missing that crisp winter feel, it looks like one last cool stretch is on the way next week.
